As an environmental scientist interested in understanding how agricultural production and nature conservation can be reconciled, I am fascinated by bees and their importance as pollinators for natural ecosystems and agricultural production. I am devoted to researching how pesticides, resource limitation, pathogens and parasites affect the health of different bee species. In several semi-field or field studies that involved also some lab work, I have investigated the (interactive) effects of these stressors. Current project: PoshBee - Effects of chemicals and their interactions on bees
