My interests are ecology, nature conservation as well as forest ecosystems and its relevance for wild bees and wasps. As a PhD student I work together with the FVA and the Black Forest National Park. I study the influence of different forest management practices and forest roads on the species composition of wild bees and wasps (Link). The goal of the research is to better understand forest habitat for wild bees and wasps and derive conservation measures for the endangered insects.
